Environmental change is threatening marine ecosystems globally and is a major concern for the wellbeing of society in present and future generations. Local stressors, such as poor water quality and overfishing, exacerbate the negative effects of global pressures on marine ecosystems. Climate change and coastal development will not abate over the time scales required for ecosystems to adapt, requiring urgent adaptation strategies to promote reef recovery and conservation.

This website features my research, highlighting its impact and (hopefully) facilitating the adoption of novel methods to advance marine ecosystem ecology and conservation. It applies a multidisciplinary approach to mapping, monitoring and modeling reefs in space and time.
